We are living in extraordinary times.

We are living in extraordinary times. The Rensselaer of yesterday and the Rensselaer of today tell an amazing story of excellence, of perseverance, of determination, and of change. All of us have reason to be proud, to be a part of this transformational institution which has withstood the great challenges of the past, and yet, has remained a place of the very best of teaching and research, and of learning over nearly two centuries.

How we manage ourselves and our university in the current challenging times, also, will tell our future. The combined support of our alumni/ae and friends of Rensselaer will sustain the Institute for the long term. Let us join together to share the good news about Rensselaer, to build and to harness our collective power, to truly build a great university for all time.

Major gifts to specific initiatives allow Rensselaer to support new programs and build an endowment for future achievements and aspirations. At the same time, unrestricted annual giving ensures that we can deliver a superior education every day.

Thank you for your support,

Shirley Ann Jackson, Ph.D.
President
Professor of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy
Professor of Engineering Sciences
