Heritage Society

The Heritage Society recognizes those individuals who have chosen to leave a legacy at Rensselaer by establishing an endowment fund, planning a testamentary gift or making a life income gift.  Members receive special publications, invitations to events, and a thank you gift.   

Testamentary gifts include gifts by will, retirement account beneficiary designation or life insurance beneficiary designation.  Life income gifts include charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and gifts to Rensselaer’s pooled income funds.

Donors who establish endowment funds at Rensselaer or who make life income gifts to the Institute are automatically enrolled into the Heritage Society.
