Each year we celebrate the vision of our alumni and friends who support students and faculty through endowed scholarships, fellowships, professorships, departmental efforts, and the Patroon Scholars and Fellows Program of the Rensselaer Annual Fund. The Celebration of Support Luncheon brings donor giving full circle by providing the opportunity for donors, students, and faculty to meet—many for the first time, to discuss their Rensselaer experiences, to make connections, or to renew old ties. The event recognizes the vision of our donors and demonstrates the impact their gifts have on those whom they support.

Over 90 percent of Rensselaer students receive some form of financial aid, and scholarship support is often a key component of that aid. There are over 300 endowed scholarships and over 40 endowed fellowships; while the Patroon Scholars Program and the Patroon Fellows Program support students through the Rensselaer Annual Fund. Support for faculty strengthens Rensselaer at its core, and in turn, attracts world-class students.
