Archer Center Overview
The Archer Center for Student Leadership Development provides skill-based, interactive leadership education for Rensselaer students that complement the Institute's educational mission. Instructors from the Archer Center teach classes and facilitate training, partnering regularly with corporate and campus leaders to ensure learning is applicable to students' professional and personal development.
Classes include the required Professional Development sequence in the School of Engineering, as well as the required Management Leadership sequence in the School of Management.
Training opportunities focus on building skills in communication, teamwork and leadership, and are offered to both individual students and student organizations who apply. They include:
