Career Services at Rensselaer

CDCEvery first-year student walks on campus at Rensselaer with one ultimate goal in mind: getting a great job at graduation! The Career Development Center (CDC) can help to make that goal a reality through our many programs and services. Here's a snapshot of just a few of the things we do:

» Professional Network (formerly Pathways). Alumni mentoring program to aid students in making career decisions.

» Summer Employment Services. Workshops to guide students through the process of landing a pre-professional summer job.

» Cooperative Education Program. One of the oldest "experiential learning" programs that can provide a significant competitive edge at graduation.

» Red Hawk Joblink. Job postings for on-campus interviews, "resume" submissions, and "direct" job applications. Over 10,000 opportunities were posted for full-time, co-op, and summer jobs last year.

In addition, the CDC offers daily "walk-in" hours, resume critiques, mock interviews, counseling and career assessment, career fairs, workshops and seminars, corporate career days, graduating student services, and much, much more. To learn all about the wide range of services available to students, visit www.cdc.rpi.edu or stop by the Career Development Center in Darrin Communications Center, Suite 209.
