Athletics Fall 2006
The fall semester should be an electrifying one as far as Rensselaer athletics are concerned. The football team is coming off an 8-2 season in which it won the ECAC Northwest Bowl while the men's soccer team captured the ECAC Tournament Championship. The women's soccer team along with the field hockey team, which was named the smartest team in the nation, have many reasons to be optimistic for successful seasons.

Late in the fall, both the women's and men's hockey teams will keep the excitement alive as they take to the ice in late September and early October, respectively. The women's team will make its debut in the highly competitive ECAC Hockey League while the men will introduce its new coaching staff and some fast paced action at the Houston Field House.
