Student
Support Services Troy Campus
With students from 78 countries and
every U.S. state, Rensselaer is a university rich in
diversity, yet it is compact enough to feel like its
own community. Our campus is friendly and welcoming;
take a walk through our virtual
tour and see for yourself! You can choose from hundreds
of clubs, activities and organizations many are
available specifically for graduate students. Our Office
of Graduate Education is also available to offer
advice and support.
If you like music, walk the short distance
to catch a concert at our very own Houston Field House.
Or, enjoy a more intimate setting at Mother's
Wine Emporium, the oldest continuously-operating
folk coffeehouse in the country.
Want to get fit? The Mueller
Fitness Center, located near Rensselaer's Student
Union, contains 32,000 square feet for treadmills, cross-training
machines, free weights, aerobics, kickboxing, and more.
The Mueller Center is also located right next to the
Alumni
Sports & Recreation Center (AS&RC), which
houses an indoor track, basketball and tennis courts,
and the Robison Pool.
You'll find it easy to get around
here at Rensselaer! Our complete-yet-compact campus
is easily accessible, and the shuttle buses can take
you to nearby malls, movies, and other popular locations.
