Rensselaer's Learning Management System (RPILMS) is Rensselaer's Course Management
Tool. It is an integrated set of tools for developing and
delivering interactive courses or course components over
the Web. It allows for the distribution of static content
(e.g., syllabi, schedules, announcements, and lecture notes),
and also provides access to interactive tools (e.g., discussions,
whiteboard, live chat, and online assessments). Rensselaer's Learning Management System (RPILMS) allows
an instructor to easily organize and distribute course materials
and grades to students both locally and remotely in a secure
environment. In addition, it facilitates communication between
the instructor and the students, as well as student-tostudent
interactions. To access Rensselaer's Learning Management System (RPILMS), print course materials, participate
in course discussions, and configure your computer to use
Rensselaer's Learning Management System (RPILMS), please refer to Rensselaer's site at
http://webct.rpi.edu.
