Communication from POC:
The Fall of 2010 will be the last semester that Distance courses will now be offered
October 29, 2009
Dear Rensselaer Student:
As you already know, Rensselaer is in the second year of a plan to phase out courses offered by distance learning. We thank you for your patience, understanding, and perseverance throughout this transition period.
After reviewing each student's intentions and all plans of study, it appears that all students will be able to graduate before the final semester of course offerings which is slated for the Spring 2011 semester. With that being said, Rensselaer will continue to meet the needs of the student body, but on an accelerated schedule, by offering courses through the Fall of 2010 instead of Spring 2011 as originally planned.
*The Fall of 2010 will be the last semester that Distance courses will now be offered.*
Please keep this new end date in mind and continue to adhere to your Plan of Study. If you intend to make any changes to your Plan of Study, make sure you keep the revised projected schedule - reflecting courses through the Fall of 2010 - in mind. Please continue to work with your Point of Contact if any issues, questions, or concerns arise. We are
here to support you through the completion of your degree at Rensselaer.
Thank you.
