Description
This course is designed as a survey overview of E-business from
newly created to large established businesses. It will use business
analysis techniques to develop a critical analysis of E-business
models. Examination of business models that predict E-business
success with examples of companies that compete in each of the
technology spaces surveyed, as well as examples of mature companies
developing E-business capabilities. Other topics covered in the
course are: strategies of E-business; business models; Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP); Application Service Providers (ASP);
Customer Resource Management (CRM); B2B; B2C; ISP; auctions and
exchanges; data mining; ethics; and security concerns. There will
be some Web components to this course. Please check web page for

Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with the basic principles of business
at the level of a first year graduate student including general
knowledge in finance, marketing, and management, and have some
familiarity with the technologies used in E-business.
