Description
This course develops a working understanding of the major investment
and financial decisions of the firm with emphasis on the role
of technological change in financial decision making. Topics include
net present value and its application, capital budgeting, corporate
financing decisions, venture capital financing, debt policy and
the interaction of investment and financing decisions, portfolio
theory and capital asset pricing, capital budgeting (uncertainty),
options and their application to technological choice.
Prerequisites
MGMT-6190 Financial and Managerial Accounting.
