Description
This course helps develop an understanding of the method for managing
technology as a global strategic resource of the firm. In doing
so, an understanding of the process, roles, and rewards of technological
innovation are developed. Integrating the strategic relationship
of technology with strategic planning, marketing, finance, engineering,
and manufacturing is also covered. Service, societal issues, and
international and policy issues are briefly covered. The course
uses a variety of cases, readings, reports, and lectures.
