Financial
Aid
There is a guide to federal student aid
that the US Department of Education distributes to all schools.
It describes the eligibility requirements for federal aid.
Some of the basic requirements for federal aid eligibility
are that an undergraduate or graduate student must be enrolled
at least half-time, must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment
as a regular student working toward a degree or certificate
in an eligible program, and they must also be a US Citizen
or eligible non-citizen. If the student is eligible for
federal aid, they can still supplement the aid with a private
loan. Those who are not eligible or opt not to receive federal
aid, have the option to borrow a private loan. We do include
private loan information when we mail award packages to
students. For those students who are considered “non-matriculated”
students, they are not eligible to receive federal aid.
However, they are eligible to receive a private loan, but
we do evaluate them on a case by case basis.
