Biography

Teresa Hübscher-Younger is an Assistant Professor of Literature, Language and Communication and Information Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she teaches and conducts research in educational technology, human-computer interaction and software engineering. Her current work is in the area of computer-supported collaborative learning. She is focused on looking at how technology can support collaborative learning and at how social forces, particularly authority, affect learning in different ways. She is also interested in new ways of evaluating attitude and social development in learning situations, as well as measuring knowledge development.
