Meeting 02 NOV 94

UNDERGRADUATE COUNCIL

MINUTES

NOVEMBER 2, 1994

INFORMAL MEETING

DISCUSSION OF FUTURE PLANS FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE CONCIL:

The duty of the Undergradute Council is to oversee the class councils of the
undergraduate class. Right now we have to also try getting more people
involved in the U.C. in order to be able to organize events ourselves. The
best way to do this is to make sure that everybody in the U.C. is involved with
every activity so that we can target our efforts and prevent the committee
chairs from being overwhelmed by work. By forming two main committees:
DSAB and the "Action" committee, we would be ensuring this idea. The
"Action" committee would encompass the activites of the Freshaman Education,
Charity, Outreach, and Social committees and DSAB would remain DSAB.

In order to find more people who wish to become involved in the U.C.,
minutes will now start being posted on xrn. and we will have an ad in the
Polytechnic each week. Hopefully, with these ideas, we can bring new ideas
to light and truly begin to accomplish the goals that were set at the beginning
of the semester.
