The purpose
of the RPI Role-Playing Games Club is to encourage the playing of role-playing games among RPI students and the surrounding community,
with an emphasis on tabletop role-playing games. We aid in
the playing of various role-playing games by assisting in matching GMs with
players, aiding in room reservations, and running a library of role-playing
materials.
The Role-Playing Games Club is a subset of the RPI Gaming Club. All RPGC members should pay the appropriate Gaming Club dues. For more information, please contact the Gaming Club president.
A RPGC website is finally up. Yay!!! Comments or suggestions go to carrd@rpi.edu, for now anyway.
There will be a meeting on Thursday, March 7th starting at 6pm in the Shelnutt Gallery. This meeting will be used to discuss the purchase of the initial source books for the RPGC library. If you can't make the meeting, you communicate with others via our mailing list, RPGC-l@lists.rpi.edu.
In addition, I'd like this to be the first of what I see as a string of (perhaps) monthly social meetings, to discuss what's happening in various games, give tips and ask for advice on various role-playing situations, and in general get to know each other better. If anyone wishes, this might be a nice time for collaborative game-planning, as well. If anyone has any suggestions, please email RPGC-ecomm-l@lists.rpi.edu.
