The Million Youth March Momentum Grows

Washington, D.C., March 5, 1998: The Million Youth March is gaining great momentum around the country and the world. Black youth are now mobilizing as never before to uplift themselves as "generation next" to improve the condition of our people. The entire Black family will attend the Million Youth March, with our young people galvanizing to take ‘the point’ in this new era of Black Power reemerging as we move into the year 2000.

The National Convener - Minister Khallid Abdul Muhammad, has been very successful in attracting a broad range of support for the march and movement. Minister Muhammad and the National Youth Director - Atty. Malik Zulu Shabazz, and other national staff members have been crisscrossing the country working overtime to move the march forward.
