How Do I Use My ITE 30sd Telephone?

FUNCTION:
 SOLUTION:
Transfer an Existing Call:
  • press transfer button
  • listen for dial tone
  • key-in extension number
  • announce call, if desired
  • hang up handset
  • call is transferred
To Set Up a 3-way Conference:
  • from conversation
  • press transfer button
  • listen for dial tone
  • key-in external number or internal number
  • announce conference, if desired
  • press transfer button
  • all parties are connected
Last number redial:
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press last number redial button
  • your last outside call is redialed
Conference call (up to 7) to an existing call:
  • call party (internal or external)
  • press conference button
  • listen for dial tone
  • key-in external number or internal number
  • announce conference, if desired
  • press conference button
  • all parties are connected
  • repeat above steps to add additional parties (up to 7)
If conference call is busy or unanswered:
  • hang up handset
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press conf button you will be connected with the original party or conference

 

Hold (To Place a call on hold) :

Hold (To Retrieve a call on hold):

 

 

  • press HOLD button
  • press line select button
  • held call is retrieved

 

Call waiting (to accept a waiting call):

 

 

 

To Alternate between calls:

 
  • when you hear the call waiting tone
  • press HOLD button (present call is held)
  • hang up handset
  • second call will ring your extension
  • lift handset you are connected

 

  • press HOLD button

Abbreviated dialing (to store a number):

 

 

 

Abbreviated dialing (to place a stored number):

  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press abbreviated dial button or #4
  • press *
  • key-in one-digit reference number (0-9)
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • key in the number you wish to store
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • hang up handset
  • lift handset
  • press abbreviated dial button or press #4
  • key-in one digit reference number
  • call is placed

Callback (to set it up):

 

 

Callback (to leave a callback message if no answer):

 

 

Callback (to return a callback message):

 

 

 

If you don't have the callback feature (to return a callback message that has been left):
  • while listening to busy tone or call waiting tone
  • press callback button
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • hang up handset
  • you will receive 3 short rings when number is no longer busy
  • lift handset
  • call is placed to called party
  • while listening to ring tone
  • press callback button
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • hang up handset

 

  • a line select button will flutter when you have a message waiting
  • lift handset
  • press callback button
  • call is returned to calling party
  • lift handset (press button that is fluttering)
  • press *7
  • call is returned to calling party

 

 

Call forwarding (to activate it):

 

 

 

Call forwarding (to cancel it):

 
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press call forward button
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • key-in number where calls are to be forwarded
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • hang up handset
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press call forward button
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • hang up handset
  • call forwarding is canceled
Call pickup (group):

 

Call pickup (extension):

 

 
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press call pickup button or #7
  • any ringing extension in your group will be answered
  • lift handset
  • press line select button
  • press call pickup button or #7
  • listen for confirmation tone
  • key-in extension number
  • ringing extension will be answered
