Over the last 175 years,
RPI alumni have been instrumental originators of technologies,
products, and events that have changed our world: the
Apollo Project, e-mail (including using the @ symbol),
the first pocket calculator, the Reach toothbrush, baking
powder, TV, the microprocessor, and the Brooklyn Bridge,
to name a few. The NYS Polymer Center is no exception
