Introduction

Welcome to The Rensselaer Technology Park. Located in the Town of North Greenbush, New York the Park is owned and operated by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), a nationally renowned technological university dedicated to mobilizing academic resources for the needs of business and industry. Companies pursuing high technology-related endeavors can lease land or rent building space in which to operate their businesses. Park companies can access physical and human resources of RPI and, in turn, the faculty and students on campus can have a "living laboratory" in which to apply their learning. In return for being an external classroom, Park tenants receive immediate entree to the university and can retain students for internships, co-ops, part or full-time employment. They can use the library, computing center, machine shop or athletic facilities, and can collaborate with faculty and students on particular research projects.
