Hi, my name is Mark G., and I am a twenty-year veteran of Public Safety. I served six years with the Army National Guard Military Police. I’m a regular on the Public Safety Sports Challenge Team and a recipient of the David Baum Community Service Award. I enjoy writing and am a published author of children’s literature. Hi, my name is Tom T. I have been serving the Rensselaer Community since 1986 after ten years with the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department. I am the Field Training Officer (F.T.O.) for our Department. I was awarded the “Chief’s” award in 1994 recognizing Outstanding Service to the Rensselaer Community. Hello, Rodney S. here! I have a degree in Criminal Justice and plan to continue my education towards a Bachelor’s Degree. I enjoy sports and particularly like weight lifting. Hello, I am Ruth V. I have been serving the Rensselaer Community since 2001. I came to Rensselaer with 15 years of Municipal Law Enforcement experience with the Waterford Police Department and the New York State Park Police. I served seven years in the National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves as a Military Police Officer. I am a certified Police Instructor, currently teaching the Domestic Violence Intervention Act at the Zone Five Police Academy. I am the Patrol Operations and Training Lieutenant for Public Safety and enjoy working with the team of professionals here. I enjoy meeting members of the Rensselaer Community.
