Photo Hello everyone! I’m Frank S. I am a nineteen-year veteran at Rensselaer. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I am proud to be a Vietnam era Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. I am a member of the Sports Challenge Team and a five-time RPI Billiards Champion. I enjoy the game very much and encourage students and staff to make use of our Student Union. Perhaps I’ll meet you at a friendly billiards challenge! E-mail: sorrif@rpi.edu
Photo Dave J. here! I joined the Public Safety Team in early 1996 following a twenty-year career as a City Police Officer. I am involved in the local community with emergency services.  As an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), I ride with a local rescue squad. I also serve as the Deputy Coordinator of Emergency Services for Rensselaer County. I enjoy being the liaison between Public Safety and the RPI Ambulance. I am also a member of the Bike Patrol Team. Photo Hello, my name is Buddy K. I joined the Public Safety team in April of 2001. Prior to serving Rensselaer, I was a Police Officer in Johnstown, New York for 20 years. I have received special training as a Firearms Instructor and K-9 Officer. I am a member of the Bike Patrol Team and the Sports Challenge Team at Rensselaer. In my free time, I am an avid bike rider, hunter, and also enjoy fishing. I look forward to working with the students and strive to keep Rensselaer a safe and secure campus. E-mail: knoblr@rpi.edu
