Rensselaer co-op's are employed in dynamic positions all across the United States working in industry, government and business.

Co-op opportunities available through the Co-op Director at Rensselaer:

  • Brookhaven National Laboratory
    The United States Department of Energy (DOE) has established a National program entitled the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) (formerly known as the Energy Research Undergraduate Laboratory Fellowship Program ERULF). Under it, Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) and ten other laboratories will be offering student appointments for the summer 2004 semester.

  • Naval Research Laboratory
    NRL has a long history of hiring physics majors from Rensselaer for various co-op positions.

  • Jet Propulsion Laboratory
    JPL and RPI have a very strong co-op relationship.

  • Sandia National Laboratory
    The University Research Semester Co-op Program is designed to enhance your academic year with stimulating and significant off-campus employment.

  • Unilever
    Unilever is currently seeking to fill several co-op positions in various locations. Positions are available in R&D as well as manufacturing. One of the majors that they are interested in is Physics.
