Public Observing
at Public Observing for Fall 2006 Every Friday night (through mid-November) Observing is Weather Permitting-there will be still be Astronomy programs shown in room 2C30 of the science center when the weather is uncooperative Time: 8pm to 10pm
Equipment: On-site telescopes from 90 mm - 16", many suitable for children to see through.
Driving directions: Find Hoosick or Congress St. From either of these find 15th Street. Turn North from Congress St., Rt. 2, or South from Hoosick St., Rt. 7. Turn West on College Avenue. Turn in at College Avenue entrance, Turn into parking. When you turn in to the College Avenue entrance the Observatory is directly infront of you on top of the Jonsson Rowland Building.
