I am currently working at the Center for Terahertz Research under the guidance of Prof. Xi-Cheng Zhang in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics and Astronomy. Our group's research mainly concerns terahertz generation as well as material detection, imaging and characterization using terahertz radiation.

My work will be in the direction of terahertz imaging. On top of what we have been doing with imaging foam defects, I am also interested in building imaging systems for biological cells and tissues. Furthermore, I would like to explore the area of image processing and analysis which is an integral part of terahertz imaging research.
