Christopher Donais
Electrical Engineering

Rensselaer\Christopher Donais
I am currently working with Dr. Michael Shur and Dr. Masashi Yamaguchi in the Department of Electrical and Computer and Systems Engineering. I am studying the properties and physical characterization of advanced semiconductor devices.

More Specifically I am studying high mobility electron transistors (HEMTs) and using these devices in the detection of terahertz (THz) radiation. Theoretically these devices should have a high level of sensitivity under this kind of radiation. My goal is to find ways to use these devices as detectors for terahertz radiation.
