GAANN Fellow

I am currently working with Prof. Toh-Ming Lu in the Department of Physics. We study the deposition of thin films of various materials and morphologies.

In particular, I am using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to deposit polymer films such as poly (p-xylylene) and poly(p-phenylene vinylene) for applications including pore sealing and nanocoating of patterned substrates.

I am also in the process of building a new CVD system that can potentially be adapted for use with other deposition methods.
