What is ELPH?

ELPH is an Interactive Physics Education Tool.

ELPH (Electronic Physics) is the prototype of a new class of electronic experiments being designed at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. ELPH offers an ideal method to involve students in introductory physics courses. The primary focus of ELPH is computer-based experimentation. ELPH's pilot lesson reviews topics covered in a typical Physics I course, including kinematics, projectile motion, gravitation, and conservation of energy.
