Spring Semester 2006
http://www.rpi.edu/dept/phys/Courses/PHYS2350/
- Syllabus
- Partners,
sections, sequences – This gives the course time line.
- Lectures
– This is mostly a repeat of what is in Napolitano’s notes and/or the
textbook.
- Lecture supplements –
Useful handouts. Read everything!
- Matlab_examples
– I inherited these from long ago. They are useful examples but
they may be obsolete and/or incomplete. Do not use them blindly!
- Software_for_equipment –
Several experiments need data translators, etc.
- Additional_source_material
– You will not need any of this but they are still useful. This
is also where I put instructions for unused experiments.
- Experiment_notes
– Brief
instructions for each lab. are in “Instructions.doc”. Additional
reading is required! Handouts for new experiments are also here
as "notes_****.pdf".
- Here are a
couple of famous papers to study: Parker, Goldhaber.
- Labs. start the week
of 30 Jan. in Science
Center 3C14.
