Maintenance Provisions
The Stockroom operates something like a retail store in that our main concern is to stock the products most desired by our "customers," the men and women who perform the work of maintaining the Rensselaer campus, and making these supplies available to them at a moment's notice. 
We have personnel safety supplies like work gloves, dust masks, hard hats, safety glasses, and sun screen. We stock building maintenance supplies like light bulbs, air-filters, electrical and plumbing equipment as well as cleaning products. Working closely with our Physical Plant Project Managers and the Rensselaer Purchasing department, we requisition and arrange for payments to outside contractors. We bargain and negotiate with Vendors for the best prices on our stock items and special orders.
