• The Graduate Student Coordinator can answer questions pertaining to funding, teaching, degree requirements, and many other things. This is a good person to go to with a question. If the GSC doesn’t know the answer to your question, she will find someone who does.

Master Teaching Assistant

• The Master Teaching Assistant (TA) is a graduate student in the Mathematical Sciences department who is selected to help first year TAs with the teaching process.
• The Master TA teaches a one-credit seminar each fall for the new TAs. This person should be able to answer your questions about being a TA.
• There is a different group of Master TAs throughout the Institute who help run the various orientations at the beginning of each semester.
