Professor Borca-Tasciuc received a B.S. degree in Physics from Bucharest University, Romania, in 1995 and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California-Los Angeles in 2000. He joined the Rensselaer faculty in Spring 2001.
