Depending on the nature of the project, the conclusion may

• report the work still to be completed
• report conclusions or findings reached
• make recommendations about actions which need to be taken
• estimate of the time needed to complete the progress

Many conclusions end with a "prophetic" statement, a look to the future, and what to expect next.
