Progress Report Introduction Body
    Conclusion Format

A progress report presents information on the status of work on a particular project. It is written to a designated reader who needs to keep in touch with what is going on. The reader generally needs to know three things from a progress report:
  • what you are reporting about [Introduction],
  • what work has been completed thus far [Body],
  • what is planned for the future [Conclusion].

The reader will also expect the report to follow a specific format, (see above link) which is determined either by company guidelines, or the length and complexity of the report.
