What to Save

Your goal is to develop a comprehensive portfolio of your work from which you can both review your progress and select appropriate work for presentation to others. Therefore, it is important to save as many significant works as possible. These include:

  • Major projects or assignments from classes (reports, designs, websites, programs, etc.)
  • Internship/Co-op assignments (business letters, reports, products, etc.)
  • Extra-curricular work (event materials, flyers, etc. from clubs, fraternity/sorority, volunteer activities)

However, don't limit yourself to the works listed above. Anything you have created that you feel demonstrates your capabilities can (and should) be included within your comprehensive portfolio. You will then have more to work from as you develop selective portfolios for various audiences.
