1. Read Dibbell. Carefully. Define the issues he raises and respond to them. How do these affect our class? (Due before Thursday class.)
2. Review MOO commands ... you can probably best do this by logging into Daedalus MOO and typing either help or @help (both will work) ... PRACTICE! I will be happy to meet with people in MOOspace before Thursday's class -- I'll post some times, probably Wednesday night, that I plan to be there.
3. From your brief experience(s), address the following question: is MOOing hypertextual? Define your terms carefully. Give examples. (Due Friday.)
4. What issues of writing, both those discussed in class and others, are still a concern to you? Be specific, if you can! How does the interplay of how we learned to write papertext affect the issues of writing we do in hypertext? (Due before class Thursday.)
DUE FRIDAY, FEB. 23:
Revise and resubmit your Quiz #2 Web. This will not affect your quiz grade,
but is required as a "journal entry."
For those of you interested in "publishing" your website in other venues, consider this issue: what if only one or two of your group wishes to pursue revision and publication? Is this an ownership issue?
