The local homepage for the New York Epsilon Chapter of Pi Beta Phi is going to be created by Jodi Pellegrini, Melissa Draper, and Mary Anne Burdick as a collaborative final project. The page will have several features that are common to sites of this type. A copy of the latest composite and member roster, list of local officers, and e-mail list will be included. Other pages will be dedicated to issues that women in college need to deal with occasionally including eating disorders, stress, and alcohol problems. Another page will be dedicated to the philanthropies that the chapter members both locally and nationally support.
One of the goals that we hope to achieve with this site is a net that gives the user a great deal of control, as well as one that is usable for the reader. The relevance should be apparent to people who have searched for a page regarding our topic.
