Here are some of the files you'll find on MMLAW. You can use these files as background information, or simply to refresh your memory while discussing something on MMLAW. The name of each file is listed filename filetype.

biblio listing      This file contains references for books and articles which deal with multimedia, intellectual property, and copyright law. All the entries are in APA format.

copy law        This file contains definitions and key terms in copyright law

fair use    This file contains the Fair Use Provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976.

url listing         This file contains the names, addresses, and brief descriptions of World Wide Web sites which pertain to intellectual property

faq listing        This file contains the ftp and e-mail addresses for the Coalition of Networked Information (CNI's) frequently asked question file. The FAQs, which are broken down into six retrievable files, answer question regarding copyright law, intellectual property law, and other computer and law-related issues

online groups   This file contains a a list of Internet discussion lists which cover the following issues: copyright law, information law and organization, computer and law, and computers in society. Direction for subscribing are also included.
