Scope and Content Note

This collection contains two notebooks. The 1850 volume contains notes on a variety of topics, including algebra, botany, chemistry, geology, geometry, and surveying. The second volume appears to be carbon copies of notes from a later period, including algebra, chemistry, analytics, differential and integral calculus, botany, mechanics and machines, structures, railroads, and astronomy.
