The Underground Railroad walk started in Canada. Monks from Japan a tracing the Underground Railroad. The walk will take about two months to complete. When they got here they rested for a bit and were given lunch. We started at the Ark and finished at River street. We walked along the Hudson River. We would stop at certain spots and we would sing and read something. All of us from the Ark got a chance to read something that we wrote. Weather it was about a story we read, or something from the heart, we all got to read something. Most of us were nervous being up there in front of everyone, but we did it with courge and honor.Gene Smith is the women that lead us in the spirtual songs.The Underground Railroad walk was a spirtual event. The monks allowed us to carry their flag symbolizing peace. The monks also let us carry the sign they had. I think it is wonderful when people come together to celebrate, something that was formed because of the killing, pain, torture, and mutalation of HUMAN beings. I hope that someday we can celebrate peace. In the furture we should not need events to celebrate events that were created, due to the hurt of human beings and our fellow species, and in saying this I think that we all should live in peace in harmony frrom now on. If you choose not to you shall burn in hell for all eternity.
