Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman was born a slave, her brother and sister was sold when
she was young. In 1835 Harriet came between the master and another slave,
the master threw a metal weight at the slave it hit her in her head.
She nearly died, for the next 80 years she suffered from sleeping spells
and headaches severe times. But she didn't die. Harriet got married.
Then thats when she dicided to free the slaves. First she left to
freedom. When she got there she met new friends and they helped her
free the slaves. She made many trips back to where she lived and
brung back more and more slaves on the Underground Rail Road.

Harriet Tubman was born in 1820 or 1821, on a large plantation in
Dorchester, Maryland in a log house. She was owned by a white man who
owned black slaves. Harriet was born in log house. Far behind
the big house.
