• Approximate Length: 1 Hour
• Attendance Requirements: All employees that may be required to operate portable powered tools and part of their job function.
• Frequency: Prior to initiating tasks that may involve the use of portable power tools. Additional training is required whenever new equipment or procedures not previously covered are introduced to the workplace.

This session discusses safe operating procedures as well as inspection and maintenance requirements for portable power tools. Guarding requirements for specific tools are also discussed.
