EHS Course Name: Electrical Safety
- Approximate Length: 3 Hours
- Attendance Requirements: All employees that, as part of their job function may be exposed to a risk of electrical shock that is not reduced to a safe level by electrical system installation requirements.
- Frequency: Prior to initiating tasks that may involve the exposure to a risk of electrical shock that is not reduced to a safe level by electrical system installation requirements, as part of their job function.
This session is comprised of four major subject areas, which include design safety standards for electrical systems, safety related work practices, safety related maintenance requirements, and safety requirements for special equipment. The course combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice.
