Employee Benefit Deductions Per Pay Period:
Exempt staff are paid semi-monthly on the 15th and last workday of the month (24 paychecks per year). Nonexempt staff are paid bi-weekly every other Tuesday (26 paychecks per year). Your benefit deduction will only come out of 24 paychecks per year.

Full Time

The following employee rates represent 20% of the cost and are deducted on a pre-tax basis. Rensselaer pays the remaining 80% of the cost.

Part Time (greater than or equal to 1440 hours)

Employee rates represent 50% of the cost and are deducted on a pre-tax basis. Rensselaer pays the remaining 50% of the cost.
