In general, Rensselaer observes the following holidays each year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, and Christmas Day.
The remaining holidays, if not designated by Rensselaer, are "floating" holidays that employees may use with supervisory permission.
You are immediately eligible for all holidays designated by Rensselaer. New employees must wait six months before taking a floating holiday. Your floating holiday must be used within the fiscal year in which it is allotted.
