Summary | Details
Full time regular or fixed-term employees, or part time regular or fixed term employees scheduled to work a minimum of 1,440 hours per year may enroll within 30 days of hire. Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.
Otherwise, enrollment may take place during the open enrollment period to be effective January 1 of the next year or within 30 days of a family status change.
Your dental insurance plan is administered by MetLife Dental.
Rensselaer pays 75 percent (50 percent for those working at least 1,440 hours) of the total cost of the premium for full-time employees as well as for a spouse and/or dependents. Employee contributions are on a pretax basis.
