The new Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies at Rensselaer will rank among the worlds most advanced research facilities.
The center is transformational for Rensselaer; it provides the university with tremendous impetus to achieve an exponential increase in research activity. It will be a place to house Rensselaer faculty and researchers engaged in interdisciplinary research, and host world-class programs and symposia.
This building will be an advanced, high-technology facility focused on the application of engineering and the physical and information sciences to the life sciences.
The 218,000 square-foot facility will be constructed on 15th Street, adjacent to the George M. Low Center for Industrial Innovation. (More images here) |
