The mission of the RenXchange program is to raise unrestricted support for the Rensselaer Annual Fund from alumni, parents, and friends of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

This unrestricted support includes funding for many areas that directly affect student programs and student life, including, but not limited to, scholarship support, undergraduate academic programs, curriculum innovations, and residence and classroom renewal. Additionally, the Rensselaer Annual Fund played an important role in the success of Rensselaer's ambitious $1.4 billion capital campaign: Renaissance at Rensselaer: The Campaign for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
