Final Project Beta Site
Due: Wednesday, April 16th at 5 p.m.
Total Points: 100
By Wednesday, April 16th, your website should be substantially completed. What does this mean?
It means that any one looking at your site should be able to:
- Get an overall impression of the ethos or atmosphere you're trying to convey, through
language, graphics, and navigational structure.
- Get an understanding of the specific kind of information to be found at your site, and
where to locate it.
- Understand how to navigate throughout your site.
- Be able to navigate to every page within your site. (In other words, your entire
web structure should be set up.)
This doesn't mean that all your graphics should be complete, or that the content on every single page must be complete. But someone looking at
your site should be able to understand what sort of content will be on each page, as well as being
able to get an overall impression of the size and structure of your site, and an overall impression
of its scope, purpose, and character. The goal here is to be able to perform a usability test that
will help you make minor revisions to your site before you turn it in for a final grade.
