To facilitate the City of Troy's snow removal program, if your car is on a City
street, it is in danger of being towed. The RPI Parking Office is once again
this year offering a free Snow Emergency/Removal Permit which will allow off-campus
students, faculty and staff living in Troy the option of parking in the North
Lot until 6 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2005 for the current snow removal effort.
Remember the permit is free of charge.
Snow Emergency/Removal Permits are allowed to park in the last four rows of
the North Lot at the northwest corner. During Snow Removals the parking entry
gates to North Lot will be in the up position.
If you already have a Rensselaer permit you do not need to obtain a Snow Emergency/Removal
Permit. Your permit is already recognized during Snow Emergencies/Removals.
If you need a Snow Emergency/Removal Permit please stop by the Parking Office
located in the Visitors Information Center between the hours of 8:30a.m. and
3:30 p.m.
Monday-Friday. Thank you.
